This book aims to provide a comprehensive overview of contemporary research and advances in the field of structural integrity and materials engineering. The focus is on understanding and predicting the behavior of materials under complex mechanical and environmental conditions to improve structural safety and performance.

We welcome original contributions in the following topics (including but not limited to):

  • Fatigue behavior of materials and components

  • Structural health monitoring and non-destructive testing

  • Rock mechanics and geotechnical applications

  • Composite materials and failure analysis

  • Numerical modeling and simulation of structural behavior
